A third-generation refrigeration professional, Dave began his career in his family’s business before founding his first company in 1992. That venture grew into a consortium providing refrigeration, electrical, and construction services across the western United States. As Board Chair and Executive at Classic Refrigeration, Dave brings steady leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a long-term focus on building strong organizations that help elevate standards across the refrigeration industry.

After an injury changed his college football path, Danny brought the same drive and teamwork mindset into the supermarket and transportation industries. He began by coordinating crews that dismantled grocery stores and refurbished equipment, which sparked a lasting interest in refrigeration. Danny went on to complete HVAC trade school and moved into installing new systems, steadily working his way up through the field from tradesman and journeyman to foreman, project manager, and construction manager. In 2019, he founded Classic Refrigeration with a hands-on approach and a clear focus on quality and people. Today, as Vice President and COO, Danny leads day-to-day operations, supporting a team of nearly 200 employees and more than 150 service trucks on the road each day.

With more than 40 years of experience in commercial refrigeration, Jeff brings deep technical knowledge and a steady, hands-on approach to his role as Director of Engineering. He has helped design and implement refrigeration systems for thousands of grocery stores across California and led the installation of North America’s first CO₂ refrigeration system. Known for his practical expertise and forward-thinking mindset, Jeff has played a key role in advancing sustainable refrigeration technologies and shaping industry best practices.

With a background in mechanical engineering and deep experience in industrial refrigeration, Jonathan leads Classic Refrigeration’s Industrial and Cold Storage division. He works closely with his team to deliver large-scale projects across the United States, overseeing everything from system design and engineering to construction, commissioning, and ongoing service. Known for his practical, solutions-focused approach, Jonathan ensures each system is reliable, energy-efficient, and tailored to how clients operate. He also plays a key role in growing the division by building strong client relationships and expanding Classic Refrigeration’s presence in new markets.

Darren brings more than 40 years of experience in commercial refrigeration sales, with a career that spans the early days of low- and medium-temperature systems to today’s advanced solutions. He has held senior sales leadership roles at Hussmann and Hillphoenix, earning national recognition and multiple top-performer awards along the way. Throughout his career, Darren has led more than $250 million in sales across hundreds of projects, from supermarket installations to large, highly engineered systems. As Manager of Equipment Sales, he is known for his genuine, professional approach, strong technical understanding, and ability to build lasting customer relationships that support both client success and continued market growth.

Russ brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial refrigeration to his role in Business and Client Development at Classic Refrigeration. He began his career at Southwest Refrigeration, where he built a strong foundation in project management and sales while developing deep technical and customer-focused expertise. Mentored by industry leader Greg Herr, Russ went on to become Southern California Sales Manager, expanding both his reach and long-standing relationships across the industry. With a strong presence and an easy rapport, Russ focuses on building authentic relationships rooted in experience and trust. His deep industry ties and practical insight allow him to support clients and partners with confidence and consistency.
